This Privacy Policy explains how GarageST collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the GarageST mobile application or the GarageST web portal (together, the "Service"). It applies to garage owners, employees, technicians, drivers, and customers who create a GarageST account or otherwise use the Service.
1. Who we are
GarageST is a garage and vehicle-service management platform that helps garages manage job cards, inspections, estimates, invoices, technician/driver assignments, and pickup/delivery of customer vehicles. GarageST is operated by TVASTRI Innovations Pvt Ltd, P No 121, SA Society, Mega Hills, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana, 500081, India.
2. Scope
This policy covers information about people who create a GarageST account — garage owners and staff (managers, service advisors, technicians, drivers, accountants, etc.) and customers who use the GarageST customer portal — and, where relevant, business/service records that garage staff enter about a customer's vehicle in the course of using the Service.

- Your internal GarageST account ID and username
Location information
- Precise location (GPS latitude/longitude, along with speed, heading, and accuracy where available) recorded during an active pickup/delivery trip, associated with the assigned driver and that specific trip
- Pickup location coordinates entered for a booking
- A garage's own registered location coordinates
Photos and videos
- Photos and short videos of a vehicle taken by garage staff during inspection, and before/during/after a service, and attached to that vehicle's job card
Technical information
- IP address and browser/device user-agent string associated with your login sessions, used to support session security (for example, so you can see and revoke your active sessions)
4. How we use information
We use the information above to operate the core functionality of GarageST: creating and authenticating accounts, managing job cards and vehicle service records, coordinating pickup and delivery logistics, assigning technicians and drivers, generating estimates and invoices, and maintaining the garage's business records.
5. How location information is used
When a trip (pickup or delivery) is active, the assigned driver's device location is used to show the trip's live progress to relevant parties (such as the garage and the customer awaiting their vehicle) and to calculate routes and directions. A history of location points for a trip is kept as part of that trip's record. Pickup coordinates you or garage staff provide for a booking are used to identify where a vehicle should be collected.
6. How photos and videos are used and stored
Photos and videos are used to document a vehicle's condition and the service performed on it, as part of that vehicle's job-card record. This media is stored using a third-party cloud storage provider (Google Drive) under GarageST's own storage account — not under any individual customer's or employee's personal Google account.
7. How account information is used
Your name, username, email, and mobile number are used to create and secure your account, to let you log in, to identify which staff member performed a given action (for example, which technician completed a job), and to manage your account sessions.
8. Data storage and retention
GarageST data is stored in a database operated on our behalf by our hosting provider. We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward where necessary for legitimate business, accounting, legal, or operational purposes (see "Account deletion" below for what specifically happens when an account is deleted). We do not currently apply a single fixed retention period across all data types.
9. Third-party service providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to help operate GarageST. These providers process information only as necessary to provide their service to us — they are not used to sell your information or to serve their own independent advertising, and we do not otherwise sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- Hosting and database infrastructure — used to run the GarageST backend and store its data.
- Google Drive — used as our storage provider for job-card photos and videos, under a GarageST-controlled account.
- Google Places API and Google Routes API — used to power address search/autocomplete and route/direction calculation. Addresses and search text you or garage staff enter may be sent to Google for this purpose.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — used as a fallback address-lookup service when the primary provider is unavailable.
10. Data security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including transmitting data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and storing passwords as irreversible hashes rather than plain text. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your GarageST account in two ways:
- From within the GarageST application, once account deletion is available there, which deletes your own account directly after you confirm.
- Through our public account deletion page, if you don't have access to the app — this records a deletion request against a matching account, which is then verified before the account is actually deleted.
When an account is deleted, we mark it as deleted, anonymize the username, clear the email address and mobile number, replace the first and last name, invalidate the password, and revoke all active login sessions, so the account can no longer be used to access GarageST. Certain business or transaction records — such as job cards, estimates, invoices, and vehicle/service history — may be retained where necessary for legitimate business, legal, accounting, security, or operational purposes, even after an account has been deleted. Photos and videos associated with a service record may also not be automatically removed as part of account deletion, since they are generally tied to that service record rather than exclusively to your personal account.
12. Your requests and choices
You may contact us (see "Contact information" below) to ask what information we hold about your account or to request its deletion, subject to the retention described above.
13. Children's privacy
GarageST is intended for garage staff and adult customers, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
14. International data transfers
Some of the third-party providers described above (such as Google) may process information on servers located in countries other than your own. By using GarageST, you understand that your information may be processed in this way as part of providing the Service.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date.
