Account Deletion
GarageST users may request deletion of their account and the personal information directly associated with it. This page describes what happens when an account deletion request is processed and how to request one.
Request account deletion
Enter the email address or mobile number your GarageST account is registered with. We will process your request after verifying that you are the account owner.
What happens to your data?
Deleted or anonymized
- Your account is marked as deleted and can no longer be used to log in to GarageST.
- Your username is anonymized.
- Your email address is removed.
- Your mobile number is removed.
- Your first and last name are anonymized.
- Your password credential is invalidated.
- All of your active login sessions are revoked.
Data that may be retained
Certain business or transaction records — such as job cards, estimates, invoices, payments, and vehicle/service history — may be retained where necessary for legitimate business, legal, accounting, security, or operational purposes, even after your account has been deleted.
Media
Photos, videos, or other media associated with garage service or job records may not be automatically removed as part of the account deletion process, since such media is generally tied to a business/service record rather than exclusively to your personal account.
Privacy & security
Account deletion requests are handled through GarageST's existing account systems. We take reasonable steps to verify that a deletion request is genuinely made by the account owner before the account is deleted.
